    Our Admission Policies

We encourage prospective parents to thoroughly review our admission policies and procedures outlined on our website. Should you have any specific questions or require further clarification, our admissions team is here to assist you throughout the process. We strive to make the admissions process as smooth and transparent as possible, ensuring that all students have a fair opportunity for admission to Citylights International School.

We follow age requirements set by the Ministry of Education in Ghana for each grade level. Your child must meet the minimum age requirement by the start of the academic year in order to be eligible for admission.

We have a limited number of seats available in each grade level to maintain an optimal student-teacher ratio and provide personalized attention to all our students. Admission is subject to seat availability.

All prospective parents or guardians are required to complete the application process, which includes filling out the application form, submitting required documents, and completing any necessary assessments or interviews.

We review the academic records and transcripts of prospective students to assess their academic achievements, progress, and readiness for the program they are applying to. This helps us ensure that students are placed in the appropriate grade level.

Depending on the grade level, students may be required to undergo an entrance assessment or interview to evaluate their academic and developmental readiness. These assessments serve as an additional tool in determining the suitability of the program for the student.

We strive to be an inclusive school and provide appropriate support to students with special needs or learning differences. However, please note that our resources and facilities may have limitations, and admission for students with specialized needs will be subject to our ability to provide the necessary support.

Our admissions committee carefully reviews each application and makes admission decisions based on a holistic assessment of the applicant's academic record, assessment results (if applicable), interview performance, and alignment with our school's values and educational philosophy.
